The Athenium Theatre in the historic town of Junee, NSW was saved from demolition by a passionate group of locals. They are determined to see the theatre come back to life and invested in an AV system to turn it back into a working cinema and theatre space for their town. 

AV Architecture was commissioned to fit out the theatre with lighting, audio and a projector system, including a control centre on the balcony. The heritage aspects were met by creating a bespoke projector mount, bracket and control desk - fitted to the shape of the balcony wall. It was a great pleasure to work on this project and meet the group behind the theatre's restoration.
